A young Diggy Simmons just 17, shocked the world this Sunday when a diss track was released directed at Roc Nation rapper J.Cole.

The diss entitled "What You Say To Me" flooded the internet airwaves this past Sunday and man were people thrown off (including myself). What was Diggy doing dissing J.Cole and why? Here it is in a nutshell. Back in 2010 J.Cole dropped his 'Friday Night Lights' mixtape (dope by the way) that included a song called "Purple Rain." Diggy claims Cole took a subliminal jab on the track at his older sister Vanessa Simmons who attented the same college as Cole. In the song Cole says (this is where it gets good):

"From the outside though, them girls be the squeakiest/you get 'em inside them girls be the freakiest/mischievous, downright devious/say she want cake I got all the right ingredients/running round fronting like a pure white virgin/gave a n---a dome while her father gave a sermon/Amen, let the choir sing/She be walking round campus like the quiet thing/so n----s scared to approach when they admiring/man if they know like I know she got that fire thing/pour a little OJ with some P-Tron/I'm feeling ok, but homie she's gone/when Revy Rev called she just ignore him"

Did you get all that? CRAZY! I'm not going to sit here and say Cole

was or wasn't talking about Vanessa butttttttt............(Crickets.) To say the

least Diggy wasnt feeling that AT ALL. In his diss to J.Cole Diggy stated:

“Who Dat? Who Dat?” You know who it is/ Heard you lying on my sis telling people that you hit/ When your album drops I’m gonna hit you with your bricks…n***a think he Cold, think he like me Jetsetter, trendsetter nah you not like me/Can’t find a girl you know that do not like me/ I Can’t find a girl I know who know you…Stand up, matter of fact sit down/Don’t try to call Hovi Hov for a sit down”

I'm not sure if Cole will even respond to this or if the "Beef" will even last past tomorrow but what i do know is Diggy's Album didn't do so well its first week. "Unexpected Arrival" his freshman album only sold 20,000 units its first week which in industry eyes is not good. This may or may not have something to do with the timing of the diss track. I'll let you be the judge.
