If you thought Desiigner's "Panda" had completed its run you were wrong. While the track currently sits at just number 42 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart after going triple platinum, it's found new life in the realm of television. According to The Hollywood Reporter's Top TV Song Chart, October saw "Panda" get downloaded 29,000 times and streamed 39 million times after being played on ABC's hit TV show, Black-ish.

Unless you've been living under planet-sized boulder, you've definitely heard "Panda" more than a few times -- and you probably thought it was a Future song. But despite an eerily similar delivery, Desiigner is indeed his own artist, and he was named a member of  XXL's 2016 Freshman Class. It was during a video shoot for the list that he unveiled the acapella for his track, "Timmy Turner." Though the actual song didn't come close to matching the success of "Panda," it generated a fair amount of buzz and kept Desiigner's name hot in the streets.

Desiigner is off to a solid start in his young career, and he plans to use his success and hardwork to inspire others. "I try to motivate people and spread the word," he told XXL back in July. "‘You can do this, there is a way. Don’t think I got this ice on my wrist, you can’t have this ice on your wrist either. Do your thing. Keep grindin’ if you believe that you can do something. Don’t ever doubt your dream. Keep going, man, keep grinding and may God be with you."
