Common Disagrees With Snoop Dogg’s ‘Best Actor’ Declaration

Snoop Dogg recently named himself the best rapper-actor out, but Common doesn't seem to agree with the West Coast MC's declaration.

TMZ found the Grammy-winning artist leaving what looked like the gym when they decided to ask his thoughts on Snoop's recent comments. Before Common could give an answer, he couldn't help but let out a light laugh. Acknowledging he comes from a rapper-actor background, the Chicago-bred rhymer commented on his own standing in the multifaceted genre before naming who should really be at the top of the list.

"I don't look at myself as a rapper-actor," Common told TMZ. "I'm an artist for sure -- a hip-hop artist. I'm an MC, and I'm also an actor... But man, I'll tell you, I really think Mos Def is one of the greats. He is one of the greats. And then I gotta honor Will Smith -- you forget he was an MC... there's a lot."
