It seems like Chris Brown is finally ready to release his oft-delayed album 'X.' On Saturday (Feb. 22), the R&B crooner made the announcement on his Twitter account that his next project is coming soon.

He tweeted:

Brown’s six studio effort has been plagued by numerous postponements. Of course, most of the delays stem from his troubles outside of the recording studio.

Since then, Brown has remained in rehab to better himself.

According to E! News, the Boombox Fan Choice Award-winner has finished his court-ordered 90-day stint in rehab but plans to stay a little longer for further treatment.

In addition, Brown was honored Friday (Feb. 21) by 2nd Call, a Los Angeles community group, for his collaborative work with the organization and his own Symphonic Love Foundation and Unity Campaign.

The 24-year-old artist went on Instagram and posted a photo of the beautiful plaque. "2nd Call honors tonight.. Really inspiring!" he wrote. "Thank you 2nd Call for this amazing award tonight!"

As for the album, we can only hope that Brown will eventually release it. The collection spawned the singles 'Fine China,' the Nicki Minaj-assisted 'Love More' and 'Don’t Think They Know' featuring the posthumous vocals of Aaliyah.
