Chris Brown Receiving Death Threats

We're not going to sugar coat this: A lot of people don't like Chris Brown. But that's no reason to threaten the guy's life, and someone has been doing just that.

TMZ reports that Brown's attorney, Mark Geragos, has been receiving phone calls at his office threatening the 'Fine China' singer with physical violence.

It's unclear what the specifics of the threats to Brown entailed, but Geragos took them extremely serious. Geragos filed a report with the LAPD, handing over any and all details on the threats to investigators.

Brown has been a target for controversy and haters ever since his infamous 2009 assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna. Though he's cleaned up his act relatively well (at least publicly) following the incident, since then he's racked up plenty of enemies, including Frank Ocean, pro wrestler CM Punk, Drake and more.

Though no one knows who made the threats or why they made them, if they're in response to Brown's history of violence, we hope the perp realizes that violence only perpetuates more violence and lets it go. Be careful out there, Breezy!
