Big Boi Says Andre 3000 Couldn’t Appear On Album Because Of ‘Some Gillette S—“
What message do we have for fans hoping for an Outkast reunion album in the near future? Don’t hold your breath. Andre 3000 seems to be focusing on non-music ventures while Big Boi continues to do his solo thing. The track listing for his upcoming solo album, “Vicious Lies And Dangerous Rumors,” didn’t list any Andre collaborations. According to Big Boi, the ball was in 3000’s court.
In a sit-down with The Village Voice, BB said contractual obligations kept Andre from appearing on the album.
“He could’ve been on any song he wanted to. I gave the m-----f----- about five songs, but I guess he was too busy. He said he had to do some Gillette s---. No for real.”
Apparently collaborating with Adrien Brody and Gael Garcia Bernal (whoever the hell that is) was more important? They do have some pretty sweet beards, though. Happy Movember!
