Beyonce has dominated the conversation with the surprise release of her self-titled visual album. She's also dominating in sales.

The songstress sold 80,000 copies within three hours of the release of 'Beyonce.' She's since sold hundreds of thousands more. Billboard reports the album has sold 430,000 copies, which will guarantee the singer earns the top spot on the Billboard 200 this week.

However, Huffington Post reveals that Beyonce's camp said the album sold 828,773 units worldwide and 617,213 copies domestically. This beats her personal best in sales -- her 'B'Day' album earned 541,000 units sold. 'Beyonce' is also the fastest-selling album in iTunes history.

The surprise project was a notable milestone even with the previously reported number. It's the highest-selling album from a female artist to come out this year by far. It's also the highest-selling project since Taylor Swift's 'Red' sold 1.2 million in 2012.
