Back To Life, Back to Reality: The Monday Blahs

Well, welcome back Capital Region!! It's Monday and many of us are returning from a long weekend. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and holiday weekend with your fam and friends. But, unfortunately, it is back to life, back to reality....

From the looks of Facebook and Instagram, many of you ate lots and lots of turkey and mashed taters! Many of you got your shopping on early, you maniacs. And many of you got a jump start on your Xmas decorating, trimming the trees, hanging up the lights, and setting up your little Xmas villages. Photos and statuses that I have viewed over the long weekend have reminded me of the upside of Facebook, cuz let us face it, sometimes, we all think about deleting our accounts and moving on, time and time again. Until we are reunited with old friends and see people living life and enjoying it....

But, I hate to get back in to the doom and gloom of Monday, but it is here, and there is nothing we can do. Every Monday morning when I wake up reluctantly bright and early,  I have a classic RnB jam stuck in my head , so I figured why not share it with you, as you know , I love sharing the old school tunes. And thinking of this song is the only way I get my big ol butt in to the shower and moving!

The group, Soul II Soul, the song, " Back to Life" , the year 1989!! Yikes, some of you probably weren't even born yet!! I had this jam on cassette single and was an awkward middle schooler attending Oneida Middle School, which is sadly no longer ! Shout out to all my Oneidians!! Friday night Fun Nights you would definitely see me and my girlz Christine, Lakeia, & Wendy getting down to music like this.

Anyhow, enough of me getting off the topic, let's take it back to 1989, as we ease back into our work day, back in to school, back to life, and back to reality!!
