Kodak Black gives us a glimpse of what life is like for YNW Melly while the Gifford, Fla. artist is behind bars awaiting his upcoming trial. On Monday night (March 11), the Broward County rapper took the time to shout out his boy Lil Soto, who's reportedly locked up at the same jail as YNW Melly. The Pompano Beach, Fla. artist uploaded a photo to Instagram of Soto posting up behind bars with Melly aka Melvin.

"Free Cuh Law #LilSoto 🙏🏾 In That Thing With #Melvin," Kodak wrote in the caption.

Soto and Melly are seen standing together inside what appears to be the jail they're both being held at. The rapper, who dropped off his "Mixed Personalities" video with Kanye West back in December, also flashes his signature smile.

Although the photo could be from Melly's previous bid in jail, it's the first actual photo we've seen of YNW Melly since he was charged with double murder for the deaths of his friends YNW Sakchaser and YNW Juvy. It also appears that his hair is the same length as it was when he was photographed for his mugshot, and his outfit looks the same as the one he's seen wearing in footage of the day he spoke in front of a judge.

Melly, whose song "Murder on My Mind" has grown wildly popular since his arrest, recently pleaded not guilty to two counts of first-degree murder.

Kodak Black hasn't had much to say about Melly's legal turmoil, but it seems like he supports him either way.
