It's been two years since the world was last blessed with an Ab-Soul album -- 2012's 'Control System' -- but that wait is about to be finally over. With his long-awaited sophomore LP, 'These Days,' set for a release next month (when exactly is up to us), Soulo sets things off in style with the project's first single, 'Stigmata,' featuring Action Bronson and Asaad.

From the first smack of the drum, you can tell this is going to hit hard. The Black Lip Pastor leads off with a nimble verse about his eye condition and the Universe's funny ways, while dropping double entendres that you probably won't catch until tomorrow: "That's iTunes from a n---- with astigmatism / I got it from my moms, thank you Steve Jobs."

After delivering a soaring hook, which borrows from Nas' 'Carry the Cross,' Soul passes the mic off to Bam Bam for one of his comically-crude verses, and later Philly spitter Asaad, with whom he previously teamed up on 'Alejandro Jodorowsky Flow.'

With the album's release right around the corner, it's obvious the TDE team are relying solely on the music to build excitement for 'These Days.' While 'Stigmata' is a solid first release, we can't help but to keep one eye on what Soulo brings next. Oh, I don't know, another Black Hippy posse cut, perhaps?
