Drake's new song 'Wu-Tang Forever' has both angered and confused fans alike. Considering the title, some thought it would be a homage to the illustrious Shaolin group instead of a love ballad from the Toronto crooner.

Well, according to Wu-Tang Clan member U-God, a remix is on the way that should appease Wu fans who were disappointed with Drizzy's track.

Golden Arms exclusively revealed to VIBE that he and other Wu members recorded verses to a remix of the Noah "40" Shebib-produced song while they were on tour in Europe this past summer.

"They wanted us to remix it and get on there [so] you gon’ probably hear another one with us on it," he says. "[Method Man] did his verse -- we all did our verses. I wrote my rhyme in probably 15, 20 minutes. We were moving so fast we only had about four hours of studio time. If I had some time to really sit down and get juicy with it, I probably could've got juicier with it. But I still do a nice one, I still do a real banger.”

Despite Inspectah Deck's voicing his displeasure of Drake's tune, U-God is appreciative of the Young Money superstar reaching out to the Wu.

"I’ve been bigging up Drake for a while,” he says. "Plus, he [sampled] the song that me and Rae jumped off so it made me feel real good. I've been in the game a long time and I really don't get that much love. It’s positive.”

As for the die-hard Wu fans who have hate-tweeted the track outright, U-God understands their anger and hopes they'll get over it.

"Our fans are some of the hardest f---ing critics ever," he quips. "You try something new, they get mad at you. I love my fans but we have some real meticulous hard fans."

"I tell my fans, you gotta let it ride," he continues. "We want to get together with people and have fun, man. I'm tired of us being looked at like we're unapproachable or antisocial. My Wu Tang fans need to chill and just let bygones be bygones.”

Let us hope that Drake will release the remix soon so all of this clamor can quiet down.

Drake's new album, 'Nothing Was the Same,' will arrive in stores Sept. 24.
