Rapper 50 Cent hasn't been making too many positive headlines this summer. Due to an incident in June, he faces arraignment today on domestic violence charges relating to an alleged assault on his ex-girlfriend and damage to her condo.

These are the same allegations 50 Cent previously denied and poked fun at on Instagram. If he's convicted, 50 Cent faces up to five years in prison and $46,000 in fines.

The alleged attacked occurred on June 23. Reports say the 'Before I Self Destruct' rapper got into an altercation with his ex-girlfriend, Daphne Joy. When she barricaded herself in her bathroom afterward, Fif kicked the door down and then kicked her.

He apparently destroyed furniture, chandeliers, a lamp and a TV before leaving. Police estimated 50, born Curtis Jackson, caused $7,100 worth of damages.
