Months ago, a snapshot of 21 Savage's appearance on ESPN's Highly Questionable inspired an outrageously funny meme comparing the Atlanta rapper to a super villain. Now, an Instagram account by the name of WeBuyGold has taken it a few steps—make that, several steps—further by developing The Year 2100, a new six-part animated series focusing on 21's exploits as a futuristic super villain.

In the first episode, which premiered just a day ago, we're transported to the year 2100, where we see Bryan Zeecrest—whose name appears to be a reference to famed media personality, Ryan Seacrest—on a news channel confirming they're in the "year of the savage." From there, we see shots of an animated 21, whose voiced by 21 himself, on a large screen at the center of a large, futuristic city.

Eventually we get to see the rapper plotting in his floating ship/fortress.
From there, we learn 21 is on the verge of losing control of the slaughter gang because he's run out of instrumentals and he's used all of his lyrics in the rap wars. How will he find his way out of this mess? We'll have to wait until episode to premieres next week to find out.

After a massive 2016, 21—whose joint project with Metro Boomin, titled Savage Mode went gold back in May— has been sort of quiet throughout most of 2017. His semi-drought officially ended a few weeks back when he dropped his super-ominous sounding track, "All the Smoke." There's no word on any new music besides that, though.

For now, take a look at the first episode of The Year 2100 to get your 21 fix. Trust us, it's pretty damn funny. Check out WeBuyGold's official website here.
