Young Dolph Tells Yo Gotti to ‘Play Wit Yo Bitch’ [Video]
Whether he's in the streets or in the studio, Young Dolph is a busy man.
For the past 23 days, the Memphis-based lyricist has given fans four new visuals to rock to including his salute to the Black Mafia Family on "Meech" and the definition of the 10 baller commandments on "Baller Alert."
On each track, Dolph effortlessly fires off at those who "want [him] dead" and those ready, willing and waiting to beef in the streets. With a steadfast mentality to takeover the trap game, the 31-year-old rapper is back with another video to add to his never-ending repertoire of trash-talking music. This time, he's taking shots at his hometown rival, Yo Gotti, in "Play Wit Yo Bitch."
Young Dolph opens the Zaytoven-produced track as directly as he possibly can.
"Everybody love me except for one group of b--- ass n----s./Aye don't play with me, play with your b----."
Then, the beat drops, and Dolph gives insight into a now long-standing feud with the man that once tried sign him.
"Tell that p---y f--- em and that's how I feel about em/Heard your intro your last two mixtapes/I hear you slick dissin' but that s--- lame/All that make believe rappin' about cocaine/Don't play with me Ho Gotti, you a hoe mane."
After the first verse, the Chi-town transplant takes a break from rapping and reenacts he and Gotti's first interactions with one another in the studio. Dolph recruits a Gotti look-a-like to demonstrate their fan-turned-foe relationship, and lets fans know that Gotti was eager to sign him to his CMG label when the trap star first emerged. According to the story, the situation changed once Dolph started to develop a name for himself without Gotti's help (and took his girl).
Before the song wraps, Young Dolph declares himself the king of Memphis.
"They say you make them p---y ass n----s call you boss/But they can't call you king (why?)/Because that's Dolph."
