Why Are Empire Ratings Tumbling ?

According to reports a respectable 13.7 million viewers tuned in for the second episode of Empire season 2, a 19% drop from last weeks season premier. DVR totals not included.

That’s the lowest viewing audience since episode 2 of season 1.

Twitter users mocked Empire for jacking scenes from HBO’s The Wire and indie film Hustle & Flow, starring Terrence Howard, who plays Lucius Lyon on Empire.

The really bad news is reserved for Blackish on ABC who’s second episode suffered a 33% drop from last week, pulling in only 6 million viewers.

Is there anything different in Empire this season than last season ? I don't really see the difference, I'm sure they will put something in there for shock value just to get those viewers back.
