Who Does That????

You ever see someone do something really bizarre, weird, or just down right stupid and ask yourself "Who does that?!!" I am pretty sure you are saying to yourself, "YUP!!" Welp, today's Who Does That? moment was brought to you by a not so smart driver in Colonie.....

Ok, I get it , it has been gorgeous out these last few days in the Capital Region, finally! Spring has sprung, for real, and we are all loving it! Washing our cars, going to the park, driving around aimlessly with music blaring , going for ice cream etc. BUT , let me back up to the people driving around aimlessly, one specific person, well stranger who was behind me at a red light the other day....

I was at a red light in Colonie yesterday, soaking in the sun with HOT 99.1 blaring, (of course) and happened to look in my rear view when low and behold , I saw possibly the dumbest thing I have seen done by a human being in awhile, and asked myself " WHO DOES THAT?!?!"

I saw a foot outside of the window, and had to pause, stop and think, and then do my left side right side check, in hopes that it was the passenger with the foot out which would have been ok. Ya see I was giving the benefit of the doubt to the driver that it wasn't him. Ultimately I was let down when I realized my assumption was right and the driver had his foot dangling out of the window. The DRIVER! Come on people.

It's bad enough we have to worry about people driving under the influence, texting, talking on the phone but now, I have to worry about someone driving with only one leg where it is supposed to be while driving?  I am at a loss for words of this carelessness and stupidity, is it me?

True story, none of this is made up, and some of you probably aren't' surprised which is fine. I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and keep things positive, but this worries me! Life is short, let's smarten up a bit, especially while driving. The weather is finally where we want it to be and I encourage you to get outside as much as you can and enjoy it ,to it's fullest, but please Capital Region, lets be smart and kick your feet up when you are sitting on your patio, not while driving.
