According to a lawsuit, Chicago-area sperm bank is being sued by an Ohio woman for mistakenly giving her vials from an African-American sperm donor.

She says it makes it hard for her and her same sex partner to raise the toddler. Cramblett and her domestic partner, Amanda Zinkon, chose donor No. 380, who was also white. Their doctor in Ohio received vials from donor No. 330, who is African-American, the lawsuit said.

This lawsuit sounds really racist, but if they chose a white donor they should have gotten a white donor. I actually wanted to side with this woman because it doesn't seem like she is suing because of racism, she is suing because she didn't get what she requested, but there are still some signs of racism involved in this lawsuit. Cramblett is suing Midwest Sperm Bank for wrongful birth and breach of warranty, citing the emotional and economic losses she has suffered.

She says she was raised in an all-white town where people are racially intolerant. She also stated that she doesn't have enough education about African American culture to teach the baby. This all sounds like a bunch of excuses to hide her racist views.

If this woman truly loved this baby; she would treat her as a person regardless of her color. Better yet she would MOVE!!! I hope this little girl finds a family who really loves her, this is a sad situation but you can't pick your parents.

Do you think this woman should win money in her lawsuit? She is keeping the baby but is worried about the child's future because she is bi-racial in a town full of white people, and black people are so "intolerant" they won't show her how to style the baby's hair. This all sounds like BS to me and she is trying to win money all because of a mistake that the sperm bank shouldn't have made in the first place. I think a DNA test is in order.
