Hot 99.1 wants to keep as many Capital Region kids warm this winter as possible which is why we, along with sponsor Fidelis Care and in association with Pastor Charlie and the Victory Church, are hosting Keeping 518 Kids Warm.

The coat drive, which takes place starting Nov. 3 and through Nov. 22 at our event at the Dream Center at 15 Warren Street in downtown Albany starting at noon, will encourage Capital Region listeners to drop off their gently used coats at the Dream Center to be donated to those in need of warm winter wear. Coats can also be dropped off throughout November at Townsquare Media's office, at 1241 Kings Road, Schenectady.

All of the coats will be cleaned by our friends at Best Cleaners before being given to the families in need.

Anyone in need of a coat can pick one up at the Dream Center on Nov. 22.

If you'd like to make a donation as part of the 518 Keeping Kids Warm, contact the Victory Church in Albany.
