What is ChowderFest?

Chowderfest 2015 is coming up—this is my first time hearing about Chowderfest or even eating chowder.

This is the 17th annual chowderfest, so you know it's popular. I've seen New England Clam Chowder in the store before, but had no idea that there were other types of chowder.

There are enough types of chowder to make a whole festival with over 70 restaurants cooking up chowder. You can vote for your favorite types of chowder. They even have a dog chowder eating contest which will be extra interesting. If you are around to try something new, check out Chowder Fest.
