K. Michelle joined the drama-filled cast of VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta back in 2012. She left the reality show to focus on her music career, signing a deal with Warner Bros. Records. Her upcoming album is titled Rebellious Soul and features a single that’s scorching up the charts, “V.S.O.P.”

V.S.O.P stands for “Very Special Old Pale,” in reference to the aging grade of Cognac, or, in the case of the song, Hennessy (a type of cognac). In short, the songs is about relaxing and enjoying a romantic, very special night with the man that she loves while enjoying her favorite brand of licka’.

The record was produced by Pop Wansel and Oak. It features a sample of Debra Laws’s “Very Special.”
