Video of the fatal traffic stop released

Moments ago, South Carolina Law Enforcement Division released the footage of Officer Michael Slager's patrol car dash camera just moments before the fatal shooting of Walter Scott.

While I would not post the actual video of the shooting directly on the site, below is the footage from the dash camera of Officer Slager the before

The video shows Officer Slager stopping Scott for a broken tail light, asking a number of questions and attempting to run Scott's information before Scott attempts to flee the scene.

Unfortunately, even with both the footage of the shooting and this preview of the aftermath, there are still no answers as to why the officer felt the need to shoot this man in the back 8 times.
