There are many things Waka Flocka Flame would call Gucci Mane, but “mentor” isn’t one of them. The two emcee’s have teamed up frequently. A few years ago they even released a collaborative album, Ferrari Boyz. The former buddies went diss for diss on twitter not long after.

Once the beef escalated on the social networking site, Gucci’s label tried to smooth things out by releasing a statement, saying that Gucci’s twitter account was hacked into and the comments did not come from him.

Waka called BS on the statement. He joked, “I guess God hacked it.”

Waka believes the relationship was torched due to Gucci’s jealousy of Waka’s success. “I don’t know the secret feelings that man got. From my personal opinion, it gotta be jealousy or envy.”

If you truly believe that Gucci helped make Waka the superstar artist that he is, don’t tell Waka! “I feel like nobody helped me do sh--. Not my momma. Not Gucci. My first album, Gucci aint even on it, period. My second album, he aint on it. I put all my music together, got all my producers. This sh—Waka.”
