New music alert! After three years, Ty Dolla $ign may be releasing Beach House 3 soon.

The California rapper went to Instagram to post a photo of himself and Atlantic Records VP Shawn Barron working in the studio. "Wait till y'all find out who this is on the left . Me and @shawnbarron cookin just know . #bh3 #campaign," read the caption.

Naturally, the hashtag "bh3" has fans thinking that it'll be the third installment of Ty's Beach House series. The first of which kickstarted Ty's career back in 2012 with features from Dom Kennedy, Iamsu! and T. Mills. The second arrived a year after that with appearances from Chris Brown, Wiz Khalifa, Jay Rock, Trey Songz, The Game, Kirko Bangz, Kevin Gates, Juicy J and more.

No word yet on the features for Beach House 3, but if it's anything like the previous projects, we can expect some current heavy hitters in the game to show up.

Ty Dolla $ign has been on a roll lately though. After releasing his debut album, Free TC, late last year, the LP peaked at No. 4 on Billboard's US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. With hits like “Only Right”, “Blasé,” “When I See Ya,” “Saved,” Solid” and “Wavy,” it's no wonder it was a success. He also appeared on Kanye West's latest album, The Life of Pablo.
