Rapper Trinidad James performed Tuesday night at a Converse Rubber Tracks event in New York City and decided to take time out of his set and run his mouth, stating that the South is currently running things and New York has fallen off, musically.

Well, Mr. James, who only started rapping six months before his single “All Gold Everything “ took off and landed him a deal with Def Jam, might not be WELCOME in the Big Apple NO MO.

In a YouTube video, the NY crowd seemed to be displeased with the rappers bold statement claiming that the NY rap scene has fallen off, and that Southern rap is running the industry.

Check out the video for yourself.

James also added his album is dropping next year.
