Trina’s Brother Shot And Killed In Miami [VIDEO]

On behalf of Hot 99.1, I’d like to send my deepest condolences to rapper Trina and her family. Her brother, known by friends as Gronk, was murdered in Miami, Florida yesterday morning.

Gronk, legal-name Willbrent Bain, was fatally shot around 9:30am after he was allegedly involved in an altercation with a man on a bicycle. Local Miami TV station, NBC 6, is reporting that the man who committed the crime is currently in custody.

The man, 27 year-old Ron Dobson, reportedly confessed to the crime. This isn’t the first time Trina’s brother has been targeted. He was the victim of another shooting back in 2008.

No public statement has been issued by Trina or her rapper boyfriend, French Montana.
