Toni Braxton was hospitalized in Atlanta for complications related to her battle with Lupus. However, a rep for the singer did confirm to The Huffington Post that the singer has since been released and is resting comfortably at her Atlanta home.

“She was not in serious condition, though Lupus is a serious disease and must be monitored at all times,” the rep said.

TMZ broke the story that Braxton was hospitalized for four days in serious condition as she battled her Lupus condition. Birdman, Braxton’s rumored boyfriend, reportedly flew from Texas to Atlanta to be by her bedside. There’s no word if the Grammy-winning singer was able to leave the hospital on her own accord or needed medical transportation.

Braxton has been battling Lupus since 2010. Lupus is an autoimmune disease that causes the body’s immune system to attack its own tissue and organs. This is the same disease that J Dilla had and unfortunately succumbed to in February 2006. According to the Lupus Foundation of America, an estimated 1.5 million Americans have a form of the disease.

Upon hearing the news of Braxton's hospitalization fans went on Twitter to send the 48-year-old singer "Get Well" wishes.

"Lord heal #ToniBraxton spare her. I ain't gon be able to take it. First Micheal, then Whitney then Prince please don't take Toni," tweeted one fan, while another person wrote, "I'm praying #ToniBraxton will pull through this, we can't stand to lose another legend."

Hopefully, Braxton will feel better before she launches "The Hits Tour" this week. The month-long trek kicks off Saturday (Oct. 8) in Oakland, Calif., and wraps up Nov. 13 in Uncasville, Conn., on Nov. 13.

We want to wish Toni Braxton a speedy recovery.
