The fans have spoken, and Tinashe, Ab-Soul, 2 Chainz and Drake dominate the votes in The Boombox's Best Music of Summer 2014 competition.

Tinashe's '2 On' was the fans' choice for Best Song of Summer 2014. With 76.45 percent of the vote, the track beat out summer chart-toppers and radio staples like Jeremih's 'Don't Tell Em,' 'Turn Down for What' by DJ Snake and Lil Jon and Iggy Azalea's 'Fancy,' a track that has topped the Billboard singles chart for months.

Not only did she take the song of the summer category, but Tinashe also nabbed the title of this year's Best Singer of Summer with a whopping 73.8 percent of the vote. She blows away heavy hitters like Beyonce as well as big time breakouts like FKA twigs, SZA and British export Sam Smith.

While Tinashe nabbed the Best Song and Best Singer categories, Ab-Soul took the Album of Summer 2014 with 'These Days...,' which dropped in June. While the LP only debuted at the No. 11 spot on the Billboard 200 chart, it managed to gain the popular vote here with 31.64 percent. And although the TDE artist took third place in the Best Rapper category where Drake and Nicki Minaj took the first and second place spots respectively, it's clear that the Black Lip Pastor is a fan favorite.

In the Best Video category, 2 Chainz's decision to pay homage to Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' won him this prize with his 'Freebase' video. The updated version not only follows an almost identical storyline but also finds 2 Chainz wearing MJ's signature red jacket and some funky zombie makeup.
