Timbaland Signs With Jay-Z’s Roc Nation

Jay-Z and Timbaland beats go together like sex and a turkey sandwich (that’s a good thing, people). Jigga officially announced that, after years of collaborating, Timbo is officially a part of Roc Nation!

The two have been putting out hits together since 1998, when Timbaland produced the poplar Hova track, “N---a What, N---a Who.” The most recent track produced by Tim that had Jay on it is Justin Timberlake’s “Suit & Tie.”

One of my favorite YouTube videos documents Timbaland playing beats for Jay that eventually became “The Bounce”, which featured the then un-known Kanye West, and “Dirt Off Your Shoulder.”

Other Roc Nation signees include M.I.A. and former Warner Brothers artist, Meek Mill.
