It was close, but no cigar for the Weeknd. His 'Kiss Land' album almost debuted at the apex of the Billboard 200 chart, but was edged out by Keith Urban's LP, 'Fuse.'

The R&B crooner moved 95,000 copies of 'Kiss Land' in its first week of release, earning a No. 2 spot on the chart. The collection fell 3,000 units short behind the No. 1 debut of Urban's 'Fuse,' which moved 95,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan (via Billboard).

Despite not having a radio single or even a top 10 hit, the singer's No. 2 placement on the Billboard 200 is still quite an impressive feat. So no need for the sad faces XO fans.

Elsewhere on the tally, 2 Chainz premiered at No. 3 with 'B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time,' earning 63,000 copies moved. R&B superstar Janelle Monae secured her first top 10 album with 'The Electric Lady.' The collection finished at No. 5 with 47,000 units sold.

Rounding out the Top 10 is Tamar Braxton's 'Love and War' at No. 8 with 35,000 discs bought, Ariana Grande's 'Yours Truly' at No. 9 with 31,000 copies sold and John Legend's 'Love in the Future' at No. 10 with 30,000 units pushed.
