The Game Drops Video for Meek Mill Diss “Pest Control”

If The Game is planning to ease up off the gas in his ongoing beef with Meek Mill, it isn't happening today, as his video for "Pest Control" drops, Game doubling down on all of his insults and accusations. The near eight-minute clip is directed by Hoso Films and DerekDidIt Visuals, with much of the imagery following the song's theme of Meek Mill being a rat. The whole beef started a few weeks back, when Game accused Meek of dropping a dime on him after Sean Kingston was robbed in L.A.

The video opens in Baltimore, an exterminator called to take care of a rodent problem, with the scene shifting to New York as Game surrounds himself with personalities from the block. Just this past Friday (Sept. 23) Game was spotted in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn shooting the "Pest Control" video with Uncle Murda, who makes an appearance at the end of the clip. Location matters here as Game doesn't balk at Beanie Sigel's "Whole clip will get showered/One phone call I’m in L.A. in three hours” line. He isn't taking shelter in his own hometown, but rather visiting the east coast, Philly included, to prove his mettle.

Just last week, Game’s manager wrote that “all signs have been pointing towards letting the fire burn out” between Meek and Game, so the “Pest Control” video can either be seen as the final shot or a contradiction of that peacemaking motion. Given the heavy-handedness of the video though, it seems likely that Meek will respond in some form or fashion, extending the back-and-forth that much further.
