School shootings are never a laughing matter, so it was no surprise when law enforcement authorities in Pasco County, Fla. sprang to action after one student at Ridgewood High School threatened to shoot-up his school, reports ABC's local affiliate. His reason? Apparently, because Lil Uzi Vert hasn't dropped LUV IS Rage 2 yet.

Recently, the 16-year-old in question posted the Facebook status "Drop luv is rage 2 before I shoot up my school." Local deputies talked to the teen, his mother and her brother—who owns the house they live in—around the time they arrested him for the post last Thursday (May 12). Needless to say, he was also suspended from school.

Although the post has about 200 likes and was likely taken by many to be a joke, school officials, members of law enforcement organizations and especially parents aren't willing to take chances with things like this, and that's totally understandable.

The thing is, this instance was the third threat of school violence in the last several days. The first time came when two students at John Long Middle School tried to recruit others to shoot-up their school. The next came when "unsubstantiated" rumors that a few students were plotting to attack R.B. Stewart Middle School. No charges were filed in that one.

LUV IS Rage 2 doesn't have a release date in sight. Peep the news video for this story below.
