The Red Bull Music Academy Festival is set to kick off in New York and several of your favorite rappers and singers are participating in unique exhibitions for the music extravaganza that starts on April 29 through May 21.

Among the panels scheduled for the RBMA Festival include a "Conversation with Teddy Riley."

The legendary producer, who shaped contemporary R&B with the new jack swing sound, will discuss how he created hits for by Keith Sweat, Bobby Brown and Michael Jackson. Teddy Riley will sit down with Red Bull Music Academy’s own music historian Jeff “Chairman” Mao to talk about his influential career. Riley rarely does interviews so this is an event you don't want to miss. The event is scheduled for May 5.

Prince will also be honored at the RBMA Festival courtesy of Detroit house producer Moodymann (aka Kenny Dixon Jr.). On May 6, Moodymann will pay tribute to the late Purple One with an all-night DJ set of his music, including unreleased songs, deep tracks, ballads and party hits. If you want to go crazy, this is event is for you.

Finally, on May 16, Gucci Mane and his longtime collaborator and pianist Zaytoven will perform together at the festival. Billed as a throwback piano bar show, "Piano Nights" will feature Guwop performing his classic hits with Zaytoven on the ivory keys. This should be an interesting night of hip-hop by the piano.

We previously reported that Solange will perform at the prestigious Guggenheim Museum as part of the RBMA Festival. Unfortunately, her concert is completely sold out.
