Hundreds of towns and cities across the United States go all out for Christmas every year. Some places put up impressive light displays, while others set up festive holiday markets. But there's one small town in our backyard that does Christmas better than anywhere else in the country: Lake Placid.

Memorial Day was originated to commemorate our fallen soldiers. We pay tribute each year with acts of patriotism, parades, bbq’s and day-drinking. Here’s a list of parades to check out on your unofficial summer kick off weekend.
