After an unusually mild January and early February, winter is about to ruin spring's debut.

This month's Hometown Hero has worked at the same job for over thirty years where she serves selflessly in the city of Corinth. She lives by the mantra of doing one good deed a day. It could be a small act of kindness or a great big one as long as an effort is made to do one each day.

This weekend it looks like the weather in the Capital Region will finally take a turn towards Spring.

Alexander Kovarovic, from Guilderland, is a nineteen year old motivational speaker, suicide prevention advocate, crisis prevention counselor, drug and alcohol intervention counselor, and an in training firefighter. He has been an advocate for teens across the country and around the world.

I know a lot of UAlbany students are gonna throw shade at me, but let's be realistic here... Duke is gonna romp on the Great Danes and dance their way into the NCAA Championship game before getting squashed by Indiana in the finals.  Believe me, I saw it in my crystal ball.
