Miley Cyrus is expected to top the album charts this week, but one rapper is projected to have a solid, top-3 showing. G.O.O.D. Music rapper, Pusha T, finally dropped his solo album, My Name Is My Name, after multiple delays, and it’s expected to finish the week somewhere in the top 3.

Detroit might be going bankrupt, but one of the city’s favorite sons is doing just fine. Big Sean is preparing to release his second studio album, Hall of Fame, in a few weeks, and although there’s some instability in his G.O.O.D Music stable, he says everyone who’s ever been a part of the clique is still part of the family.

Uh-oh, somebody grab the Haagen-Dazs! Kid Cudi and G.O.O.D. Music are breaking up. According the Cudi, although he appeared on G.O.O.D. Music’s “Cruel Summer” compilation album, he’s been riding without the clique for about 6 months.

The collective G.O.O.D. Music album, Cruel Summer, has given us a several joints worth talking about – Mercy, Clique, the I Don’t Like Remix to name a few. Hopefully those “Cruel Winter” rumors turn out to be more than that, cuz according to Big Sean, some big names were left off certain “Summer” tracks.

- Less is much more in the case of  Kanye West‘s album artwork for ‘Clique.’ West tweeted the artwork earlier today (Sept. 4). The single, off G.O.O.D. Music’s ‘Cruel Summer,’ features Jay-Z and Big Sean.

The big album release in hip hop today is the Def Jam debut of former DTP rapper, 2 Chainz – “Based On A T.R.U. Story”. The artist formerly known as Tity Boi is expecting solid first-week numbers. The album features his smash hit with Drake, “No Lie”.

Kanye West surprised New York clubgoers Saturday morning (Aug. 4) when he decided to preview tracks from his G.O.O.D. Music compilation album ‘Cruel Summer.’ According to the New York Daily News, the rapper showed up at the PH-D Rooftop Lounge to hang out with his buddy Leonardo DiCaprio and decided to take over the DJ booth.

The G.O.O.D. Music debut ‘Cruel Summer’ has been given a Sept. 4 release date, according to Pitchfork. The album by Kanye West and his musical family had previously been expected to drop in August, although that expectation had been based on a comment from Pusha T and not any official announcement.

Production company Just Kidding Films is a group of creative comedians who want to bring cultural diversity through comedy. The Asian comedy troupe recently offered their comedic take on Kanye West and G.O.O.D. Music’s black-and-white video ‘Mercy’ with their inventive one-shot-style clip, ‘Mazda.’

The G.O.O.D. Music family kicked off the BET Awards 2012 with a driving performance of their latest single, ‘Mercy’ from their upcoming compilation album ‘Cruel Summer.’ Dressed in all-white outfits, rappers Big Sean, Pusha T and 2 Chainz rocked the mic behind a replica of Lamborghini Murcielago and amid a showering of laser beams.

“Mercy” is the name of the smash hit from Kanye and his G.O.O.D. Music crew. The hook of the song is “Lamborghini Mercy, your chick she so thirsty / I’m in that two seat Lambo with your girl she tryna jerk me”. But, what is the song really about?

Rappers, get ready to tuck your whole summer in. Kanye West has penciled in Aug. 7 for the release of his G.O.O.D. Music compilation ‘Cruel Summer,’ according to Rolling Stone. Pusha T revealed the release date during an interview with Hot 97 personality Funkmaster Flex.

The 2012 BET Awards are set for July 1 and with them, the news that Kanye West‘s G.O.O.D. Music Family is set to perform.

Kanye West revealed on Friday (May 18) the title of his highly-anticipated G.O.O.D. Music compilation album. The collection is titled ‘Cruel Summer’ and it boasts contributions from labelmates Big Sean, Pusha T, Q-Tip, Kid Cudi and newly-signed member Teyana Taylor.

Last night my twitter (@BruceVeetRoy by the way) was going absolutely APE  after Funk Master Flex dropped Kanye West new track called 'Theraflu' ft. DJ Khaled and produced by Hit Boy. The song was set to drop last Friday to kick off the G.O.O.D Friday series and here it finally is and might I add WELL WORTH THE WAIT!
