T.I. has just released a powerful EP focusing on racial injustices in America, Us or Else.

From giving heartfelt, angry interviews about police violence, to moving his money to black-owned banks and encouraging others to do so, to protesting himself, Tip has has been very vocal about the police violence against black people.

Now, he's released a new 6-track EP that finds him airing out his frustrations about the disenfranchisement of black people on wax. He says it was written in response to,“the repeated deaths of unarmed black citizens at the hands of police." The release is incredibly timely, coming on the heels of the police shootings of Terence Crutcher and Keith Lamont Scott, which sparked protests in Charlotte.

The EP features Killer Mike, Quavo, Big K.R.I.T. and Meek Mill among others and is available to stream on Tidal. Featuring songs like the previously released, socially charged, "Warzone," which Tip just released a powerful statement video for, and "We Will Not," the EP aims to be a project that reflects the current state of America.

“I’ll die to save a million lives / Appointed leader when nobody couldn’t think of s— / I’ll be a martyr if my great-granddaughter benefit / They pull you over, ask you where your license at / Be careful reaching for it, you know you can die for that,” he spits on the song.

Tip's tenth studio album, Dime Trap is still set to be released later this year. You can listen to Us or Else below (no subscription required).
