Snoop Dogg recently caught the ire of President Donald Trump for his new “Lavender” video. The clip features a clown version of Trump being shot by Snoop.

The visual itself is a commentary on police violence, but that is being overlooked by politicians and conservatives, who continue to attack Snoop for a video that they deem promotes violence against the president. There are even rumors that the Secret Service is now keeping tabs on the veteran rhyme-slinger.

Coming to Snoop Dogg’s defense is T.I., who has been very critical of Agent Orange, uh, we mean, President Trump. On Wednesday (March 15), the Grand Hustle CEO jumped on his Instagram page and let Trump know that disrespecting the O.G. will not be tolerated on his watch. He wrote:

@snoopdogg is a F---in Legend u F---ing Tangerine Tanned Muskrat scrotum skin, Lacefront Possum fur Wig wearing, Alternative fact, Atomic Dog diarrhea face ass man!!!! Leave our legends names out ya f---in old ass puppy piss smelling ass mouth & continue to focus on dividing minorities, building barriers, alienating immigrants, & f---in this country up like u been doin.... #UWannaBeDictator #PresidentialLevelF---Boy"

Damn, tell us how you really feel, Tip!

Back in January, when T.I. wrote his open letter to Trump before his inauguration, he asked the 70-year-old politician, "What do you want US to see?" Well, we think T.I. got his answer.

Several other rappers have defended Snoop Dogg's "Lavender" video, calling it "artistic" and non-threatening. Ice-T and Treach of Naughty By Nature are in full support of the Doggfather's visual.

"It's basically him saying everybody's a clown including Trump, which I think we all agree. The part where you point the gun at the president, that's against the law, you gotta know that," Ice-T told TMZ in a joint interview with Treach. "You can't kill the president, but he pushed the line and he had the edge right there."

"And it was a confetti gun," added Treach. "Anybody got shot, confetti came out. It was artistic." He later adds, "I don't think it was threatening neither."
