Syd and Sampha Pair Up on Elegant Ballad ‘Show Love’ [LISTEN]

XL Recordings honcho Richard Russell has released a new project called Everything is Recorded. The first song from the EP is the elegant ballad, “Show Love” featuring Syd (of the Internet) and Sampha.

“Show Love” is sumptuous track featuring Syd and Sampha’s lithe vocals over mellow productions of drums, keyboards and other atmospheric sounds. "Swear I feel it everywhere / So much ego in the air / Think I've seen it all before / I know I can see some more / But if I die before I wake / Then I hope I made a change / I know what my purpose was...show love, show love," sings Syd.

Russell's Everything is Recorded also features another Sampha-featuring track "Close But Not Quite." The collection also includes "Early This Morning" featuring Giggs and "D'elusion" featuring Infinite, Mela Murder and Green Gartside. You can buy the album now on iTunes.
