The man accused of slaying Lil Snupe surrendered to authorities Tuesday (June 26) in Winnfield, La., reports the Shreveport Times.

Tony Holden was place into custody without incident and was booked on charges of first-degree murder, armed robbery and illegal firearm possession.

“God has a way of working things out. He felt that it was best for that guy to turn himself in before he ran into me," said Snupe's cousin, LaStevic Cottonham.

According to Winnfield police, Snupe was allegedly shot and killed by Holden over a video game bet. The investigation is still ongoing said police Lt. Charles Curry.

The 18-year-old rapper was an artist on Meek Mill's Dreamchasers label. His latest mixtape, 'R.N.I.C.,' features the now elegiac tune, 'Nobody.'

The funeral for Lil Snupe, born Addarren Ross, will take place Saturday morning (June 29) at Jonesboro-Hodge High School in his hometown of Jonesboro, La.

“I was a fan of Snupe, but I loved Addarren,” said Cottonham. "He was more than just my cousin, he was someone special.”

Snupe's younger brother, Sedarian Joe, concurs, and said the late rapper's death has sadden his whole family.

"I really loved my brother man," he told KNOE.com. "For his momma, I really feel bad for her because can't nobody feel the pain like she can."

We send our heartfelt condolences to Ross' family. May Lil Snupe rest eternally in peace.
