In today's #BLANKSTARENEWS: another cop is caught on camera shooting an unarmed black man. It seems like this happens every other day but this time it was different.

This time the shooting and the events that led up to the shooting are on camera. The thing that amazes me is people are still defending this cop's actions. Take a look at the video and judge for yourself.

To me this looks very clear the kid did NOTHING wrong. He was asked for his driver's license and that's exactly what he was trying to get.

Unfortunately there was this thing created called the Internet that allows people to express their opinions and a lot of them are here are some of the comments that had me .... concerned about the future of mankind.

So Larper ? Would it have been better for him if he hesitated and made it seem like he was taking his time ?  This response makes no sense shoot the guy for moving to fast to reply to your demand ?

Kris ? Isn't that why they have a thing called the police academy to train people how to deal with situations like a routine traffic stop ?

How people can justify something like this is scary. Law enforcements job is to protect the people not to protect themselves while on the job.  Shooting a civilian should be the very last option, it seems like this option was this officers very first choice.  He was fired for being a bad shot also, there is no way that this kid should be alive right now.   Was he scared ?  Maybe...  Would he have been as scared if the non seat belt wearing offender was white ? Maybe...  No one will ever know the truth because Sean Groubert certainly isn't going to be honest now that he is facing 20 years in prison. His life is really in danger now, how ironic.

The future of law enforcement will have to change if this trend continues. I'm happy the man lived to tell his side of the story.  I hope he wins a lot of money in the upcoming law suit.
