SoMo Performs ‘Ride’ on ‘Arsenio,’ Talks Bar Fights & No. 1 Album [VIDEO]
With a No. 1 album on iTunes, SoMo is well on his way to stardom. The 26-year-old singer appeared on the 'Arsenio Hall Show' to perform his gold-selling song 'Ride' on Thursday (April 10).
Backed by a full band, SoMo was casually dressed in all black including matching high-top sneakers. The singer had the ladies swooning to his seductive ballad.
Later, the Texas native chatted with Arsenio about his unique stage name, his doting mom and his songwriting process.
When asked if he was single, SoMo was coy with his answer.
"I’m a single man, but stuff can be complicated," he states.
SoMo also talked about breaking his jaw in a bar fight last year.
"Some guy basically pushed me and took my beer so I punched him," he explains. "And then he hit me with the beer bottle which was full of beer."
"At the end of the day, I’m a lover not a fighter," he adds.
