The hip-hop world is still reeling from the untimely death of XXXTentacion after he was gunned down on Monday (June 18). While police say the suspects were two Black males wearing hoodies, with the shooter sporting a red mask, some fans pointed at Florida rapper Soldier Kidd being involved.

Following X's death, social media posts showed rappers Soldier Kidd and Soldier JoJo posing with a red mask while grabbing food and brandishing guns close to the scene of the shooting. Soldier Kidd has since come out and denied any involvement in the incident on Instagram Live, saying he was home all day, The Independent reports.

The Florida rapper also posted a lengthy video on Instagram denying he had anything to do with the shooting. In the video, Soldier Kidd said he's seen the accusations but reassured fans that he has love for his state and had love for XXXTentacion.

"I've been seeing a lot of comments, I been seeing a lot of thangs going on in social media, saying I had something to do with XXXTentacion's passing. Man, listen, we all got love for Florida, nigga. I got love for bro. I ain't even know who the man was," he said.

"We out here handling business. We out here gettin' money, bro. We don't got no time for none of this shit goin' on," he continued. "But listen, all my condolences go to the man's family and what not. But I just gotta get on the 'gram and let ya' know what it is, you feel me? I ain't had nothing to do with it but I'ma stay positive, keep my head up."

According to the police report, authorities say X was leaving RIVA Motorsports in Deerfield Beach, Fla. shortly before 4 p.m. when he was approached by two armed men. The Broward Sheriff's Office says at least one of the men shot X and both suspects fled in a dark-color SUV.
