Every once in a while, Eminem pops up from his studio man cave to remind the world he can still rap his ass off. The most recent "once in a while" occurred during last night's 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards, which saw the rapper deliver an epic freestyle aimed at President Trump.

Over the course of several minutes, Slim Shady went at the 45th president's neck, coming through with an endless barrage of punchlines and clever turns of phrases to diss the guy and any of his supporters. Naturally, the rap world responded with a huge round of social media applause.

"Whoa. Rap God. @Eminem thank you. Potentttt," wrote J. Cole on Twitter. ".@Eminem killed this shit!!! Fuck that! This is for Collin ball up a fist!!! ✊🏿," tweeted Diddy around that same time. Those responses were really just the beginning.

For his part, Snoop Dogg uploaded a video giving Em a shoutout. "Yo, shoutout to Eminem for saying some real shit. Eminem: I always knew you was a real nigga. We totally know you a real nigga now. Shoutout to Eminem, Detroit stand up. Eminem, real muthafuckin' nigga. So says Snoop Dogg," he says in the video.

Adding to a steady stream of responses were Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James and former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick. LeBron highlighted a few bars, tweeting, "Racism is the only thing he's Fantastic 4(fantastic for), cause that's how he gets his rock off, he's orange. Sheesh @Eminem!! 🔥🔥✊🏾🔥🔥#United."

Kaepernick, meanwhile, simply tweeted out his appreciation. Check out Eminem's freestyle and what rappers had to say about it for yourself below.
