Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa Being Sued Over Railing Collapse
If you recall, over 40 people fell onto the concrete when a front row railing collapsed at the show in Camden, N.J. The Camden County Police Department said that 15 people were treated at a nearby hospital for broken bones and bumps and bruises. One person, who was not identified, was critically injured and taken to a Trauma Center.
Footage of the incident surfaced online and you can see where the railing gave way, causing over two dozen people to drop several feet below to a concrete walkway, which separates the lawn from the main stage.
According to TMZ, the plaintiffs blame Snoop and Wiz for causing a stampede which led concertgoers to push against the railing and it eventually collapsing. The suit states that Snoop and Wiz yelled, "Everybody in the mother---ing grass bring your ass down here" right before the collapse.
Three of the plaintiffs were employees at the venue, BB&T Pavilion, where the concert was held. One plaintiff claims to have suffered a fractured spine from the incident. Live Nation is also named as a defendant in the lawsuit. The lawsuit claims that the entertainment company made cheap repairs on the railing within the last year.
Attorneys for Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa had no comment on the matter.
