Some may be too young to remember this throwback tv classic in pop culture but those of us who do are surely excited! 'The story of Yo! MTV Raps' is set to hit VH1 Thursday, June 7 at 10 PM EST. They have also just released a teaser featuring Tupac and his beef with the Hughes Bros. in 1993.

The beef started when the Hughes Brothers fired Tupac from playing the roll of the Muslim character 'Sharif' in the classic film 'Menace ll Society', claiming that Tupac was being a troublemaker on set. Tupac then went on Yo! MTV Raps and admitted to assaulting the Hughes Brothers for firing him and unfortunately ended up incriminating himself. Here's what was said:

"They fired me but did it in a round about punk snitch way. So I caught them on the streets and whipped their behinds... I was a menace to the Hughes Brothers and it ain't over."

Pac's consequence ended up being 15 days in jail for admitting to assaulting the Hughes Bros. on video(Yikes). The show 'Yo! MTV Raps' ran from 1988-1995 and then as 'Yo!' until 1999. The three hosts were Fab 5 Freddy, Ed Lover and Doctor Dre. Those of you who never got a chance to enjoy the show are in for a real vintage hip hop treat.
