Should Albany County Hire Felons?

A new law is being proposed in Albany. It prevents Albany County officials from asking about an applicant’s criminal history. It will be discussed at a public hearing tonight at 7:15 p.m.

Things like this that affect the local government are way more important than the presidential election. There is a whole campaign going on to "Ban The Box."

They affect how things work right here. If you know someone who is out of work because of previous criminal activity, you should encourage them to come out and have their voices heard.
