On Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 5:30-9pm at Voorheesville Public Library, a showing of the movie, Selma, followed by a discussion facilitated by Professor Paul Murray, PhD from Siena College, an expert on the Civil Rights movement. As well as an account of Susan Butler, a Civil Rights activist who participated as a Freedom School teacher in Mississippi during the 1964 Freedom Summer and who marched to Selma, experience. The program is suitable for high school students and up. It is FREE ADMISSION.
