Schenectady Man Acquitted In Fatal Zoe Rage Shooting

Alonzo Garaycochea, 25, also known as Albany rapper Zoe Rage was killed last February in a Clinton Avenue apartment in Albany. The person accused of his murder was acquitted in court.

According To Times Union :

An Albany County jury has acquitted Waverly Pleasant, 32, of killing Alonzo Garaycochea, 25, last February in a Clinton Avenue apartment.

Pleasant, 31, was allegedly part of a group that came to Garaycochea’s apartment at around 12 a.m. on Feb. 12 after Garaycochea and another man in the group had been in a dispute.

Tragic that a life was lost and another person's life was ruined trying to find justice. Probably for something that could've been worked out if cooler heads had prevailed. Pleasant, who was on parole at the time, was arrested April 13, 2017 in Scranton, Pa., by U.S. Marshals. He was represented by attorney Timothy Berry.
