The movie, “Small Apartments,” based on a novel by Saratoga Native, Chris Millis, will receive a local premiere. The showing will happen at 6:30pm on Friday, March 1st, at the Saratoga Music Hall inside City Hall in downtown Toga.

Millis wrote the novel in just three days. The big screen adaptation was directed by Jonas Akerlund and features a HUGE list of stars including:

James Marsden (The X Men trilogy, 30 Rock, Death at a Funeral)

Matt Lucas (Bridesmaids, Alice In Wonderland)

The plot follows a man named Franklin Franklin, played by Matt Lucas. Franklin Franlik has a dead landlord on the kitchen floor and a drunk investigator questioning him. To add to his chaos, he is surrounded by eccentric neighbors – the stoner, his girlfriend, the wanna-be stripper and the artist

The movie is Rated R so no one under the age of 17 will be admitted to the March 1st premiere in Toga. Tickets will be available at the door for $10. The film premiered in LA and was a selection of the 2012 South By Southwest Film Festival.
