It looks like the end of an era. First Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan and now Kevin Garnett!

After 21 seasons in the NBA Kevin Garnett has decided to retire. Garnett is truly leaving a legacy as one of the best defensive players in league history and to many you can say the game's most influential and intense competitors.

In honor of his departure Garnett decided to post a farewell video on before the Minnesota Timberwolves are set to open training camp. In this black and white video he narrates the short film showing him walking alone through Target Center with sunglasses on. So typical Garnett..

In the video he shares

"I'm just thankful. I can't even put that into words,'' Garnett says. "I'm just thankful. I'm just thankful for everybody and the love. I never would have thought that people love me like this. But, for it to be reality is just something else, man. Man.''

In other Basketball news....

After injuries from last season and complications from blood clotting, there is a chance that the last of the trio of the Heat Chris Bosh just failed his pre-season physical.

This is what the Heat organization had to say

"Chris has now taken his pre-season physical. The Miami Heat regret that it remains unable to clear Chris to return to basketball activities."

Yikes!  Lets just hope for the best!
